Irresponsible Youth

POSTED BY: SUDA

After bomb-blasts in Bangalore followed by Ahmadabad, people started spreading rumours. Someone forwarded me a mail which had a warning as follows:

THIS IS NOT TRUE. ITS A RUMOR. I THINK THIS IS JUST SOME MAD IDEA OF SOME #*$#%@ FOOLS!!!

————————–

Dear All,

Govt. has requested the people to avoid going to public places tomorrow, as red alert is declared all over Chennai following the serial blasts in Bangalore and Ahmadabad ………….it has been guessed that they are following the word: BACK

B- Bangalore
A- Ahmadabad
C- Chennai
K- Kolkata

Please forward this to everybody you care for…..

————————————–

I REPEAT THIS IS NOT TRUE. ITS A RUMOR. SOME PEOPLE HAVING NO WORK MAKE UP THINGS LIKE THIS.

Most of people are forwarding this mail like hell. Please, youth, be responsible!!!!!

Has anybody heard this or read this anywhere on news and newspapers? I don’t think so. All people who use Internet and Emails are responsible if they don’t try to stop these rumors. Things like these just mess up peoples minds and spreads panic.

I request all sensible people to ignore such rumors and stop others from spreading them. We can’t prevent bad things like bomb-blasts by just forwarding e-mails. You should be alert yoursellf and follow the guidelines police and system set for you.

Don’t hesitate to report ANY suspicious thing or activity to police. Keep your eyes open and help others to take care of themselves.

Young people are foundations of any country and I honestly think we should not fall pray to rumors. Be reasonable and responsible.

Take Care

Suda

of course! these stupids spreading rumors brings the panic everywhere. Not only in email. I got the same msg in SMS. Then on the same day the chennai police commissioner talked to media that don’t believe those msgs and strict action will be taken against those people sprading those msg.
After that only people like me in chennai became cool.

Problem is that all people who spread these rumor emails are mostly working in software industry which is full of cowards and irresponsible youth who believe in any terrifying lie. I am saying all of them are like this as I am too a software guy, but most of them have never faced anything out of A/C rooms and so they get scared easily.

Pity he could only come up with something as ludicrous as a 4 letter word. May be he could have thought of:
    Bangalore
    Ahmedabad
    Chennai
    Kolkata
    Lucknow
    Allahabad
    Surat
    Hyderabad

The dictionary is full of words and India has plenty of cities whose initials could make good acronyms.

That’s the last thing where you want to put your creative juices in! People need to grow up and grow up fast.
