Rest In Peace…

Our world seems to be headed into total anarchy as each day passes. Of all the gruesomeness that kids face nowadays at the hands of drunken and half-wit parents, the case of young Aarushi has to be the worst! The media carried the news like wildfire and evoked tears and outrage from everyone. The following words from the Facebook Community dedicated to Aarushi – Rip Aarushi – probably tells it all:

Into your hands, O Lord
we humbly entrust our sister
In this life you embraced her with your tender love;
deliver her now from every evil
and bid her enter eternal rest.

Fruity has written a post on this topic, and this is what she had to say:

A girl who was about to celebrate her birthday on the 25th May in a plush pub in Noida. What intrigues me and that too in a negative way is the manner in which an innocent persona of a 14 year old girl is tarnished by the UP Police? Did they had any proof to support behind the murder motive that they have been advertising in media? Linking a smart mature 14 year old girl to her 45 year old domestic servant shouldn’t have been made public without any strong proof. I was so deeply anguished when I heard reports and comments about the phrase ‘objectionable’? What is the definition of objectionable? Even if a girl is found hugging anybody – a friend even then also she is straight away seen as of low character? What century are we living in?

Truly, what century are we living in?? Is this the kind of past we can leave behind for our kids? I urge all of you to join the Community on Facebook to support this cause, where we can make this injustice known to people all over the world. I am shocked!

I can’t say anything more! May you rest in peace, Aarushi.

it was really painful to think of a murder like that…When parents become like that what can we do?

It was really shocking to watch all this on the television. The Indian police tries to cover up half of the cases by stating some false evidences. In this case, they should have solved all the problems and answered all the questions before coming into any conclusion. Many Questions are still left unanswered.

It’s a highly shocking & scary incident. A sweet teenage girl is killed brutally & instead of consolation, grief-stricken, suffering parents are facing allegations!
It’s scary, as I feel it can happen to anybody!? People are allwoed to make stories of their choices, & spread it without feeling the pain they are giving the other! Any relation can be blamed in such an unthoughtful manner?
It was also shocking to know from some news-channels & blogs that kids & teenagers are scared & doubtful towards parents(Like Vishesh’s comment above)… I wish to assure them that it’s not possible that a parent can kill his daughter… & pray that this may come true in case of Dr. Talwar also, so that kids may not doubt such a pious relation.

I dont believe that Arushi had any relationship with her servant. It dosnt make sense. The news was shocking.

I am amazed by the way media and the police has blown it out of proportion without any concrete proof. Even if the truth is something else, the damage is already done. The police speculates and the media picks up the thread and creates a mountain out of the molehill. Truly juvenile.

I was totally shocked when the news channels were repeatedly changing headlines about this news case in the past week.they dont give the family any personal space and the whole country knows about aarushi’s sad end..let her rest in peace..
news channels pls give the family time n space to recover ,dont make the nation judgmental with your already confused reporting !

Deeep anguish on the death of Arushi and maligning of parents and family by the police without concrete evidence.
Deep anguish and sense of helplessness at the incompetence, callousness,of a police and state that is supported by us tax payers. As abiding tax payers and citizens we have no dignity in this state.
2 earlier incidences barely a month ago in Noida of a young girl Thomas and an Army officer killed still has not found a solution by NOIDA Police.
If the police whose salary comes from taxpayers cannot protect a large community of tax payers in this country I wonder where the state will go.

It is really bad killing a 14 year old girl in such a gruesome manner! No one on this earth has the right to take the other’s life if one cannot bring life into a dead person!

Our heartfelt condolence to near and dear of Aarushi.
